Literature Review Quilt

An important part of my arts-based doctoral research is to partner & compliment making research with more conventional academic written research. I am very fortunate to have Maria Elena Buszek (Associate Professor of Art History in the Department of Visual Arts at the University of Colorado Denver Department of Visual Arts) agree to provide my literature review question portion of my comprehensive exams. Currently I am working on completing the object based portion of this literature review, for which I have chosen to answer in the form of a quilt. What follows is a documentation of my progress to date.

  1. Hi Danielle! I am currently working on my PhD dissertation and battling what would be the literature review chapter. It is arts-informed research too! I would love to chat with you. Can we connect by email? I am in Newfoundland…and also from B.C. So not too far from you!
