There’s a certain feeling in the air..

The atmosphere is very exciting in Gracia right now. Eleven more days before  the streets are closed and the proclamation is made in front of City Hall (on the 14th) that the decorating can officially begin in the streets!!

You can see that the various streets which will soon be adorned in their very ‘best’ are bursting at the seams – waiting for the evening when all of their ‘summer finest’ is finally brought of to decorate for Grande Gracia!

Tonight in Berga, we worked on three human forms (can’t tell you any more then that..) and I helped with the interior formation of a paper-maché shrub (sounds much less exciting then it actually was!). We quit a bit early because everyone seemed somewhat tired in addition to the fact that we had to let some of the artwork dry before we could move it around in the studio space and make space for the next aspects of the decorations.

More tomorrow..
