InSEA: Early Morning Run_Day 2

Before this morning’s proceedings I ventured out for a little run in the Melbourne winter wind. This city is so beautiful (reminds me of Vancouver in some ways with water front playing a central role to the city’s aesthetic and romance) and creative – a prefect place to be holding this international arts conference!

And some photos of the amazing graffiti in Hosier Lane (directly across from the art centre, you’ll see it in one of the photos):

These are some of the amazing cafes from Melbourne’s famous laneways:

This is the ceiling from a Mexican café I ran past -They are hundreds of terra cotta pots. Wow!

And I to the best of my thinking, these posters are part of a public art project sponsored by the city of Melbourne – as the series runs for an entire city block, and they are all locked inside glass cabinets along the sidewalk. Very interesting prints. (Check out -“Picasso Held for Ransom” – awesome!)

More later! I’m going to be late for the morning’s keynote address by Alison Carroll at the conference!

      Hi! Darling;
      If, Anything could distract you from your morning coffee, it would be an early morning run in Melbourne. Thank you, the sights are very beautiful
      & the graffiti looks a little like” Rick Mercers rant” if you know what I mean. Have fun enjoy the sights & take your old man with you when you can.
      Love
      DAD
